Associate Provost, Information and Library Services (I001654)

Primary responsibilities include: providing a vision and strategic direction for UMUC’s library and career services operations; directly supervising the directors of the library and career services; overseeing new program development; managing budgeting and financial management, and ensuring the units are meeting the needs of the university community. Requires a minimum of 10 years related experience. Salary commensurate with experience
Assistant Director for Public Services (B001335)
Provide leadership for the development, delivery, and assessment of reference, instruction, and collection development initiatives; set goals and policies for the team; contribute to and oversee library reports and projects; coordinate the selection of electronic and print resources; represent the library on University and University System of Maryland committees; direct staff of eleven (six direct reports). Requires a minimum of five years related experience. Salary high seventies.
Regional Services Librarian (I001726)
New and challenging opportunity to identify library services needs at UMUC's regional sites and develop plans for delivery of library services, resources, and instruction at a new regional site, Dorsey Station, in Elkridge, MD. Primary responsibilities include: overseeing the delivery of library services, education, and resources at the library at Dorsey Station; consulting with staff located at UMUC’s regional sites in Maryland and identifying needs and trends at the sites; and collaborating to develop a plan for the delivery of library services and education to UMUC’s regional sties including Dorsey Station. Supervising one library technician at Dorsey Station. In addition, will provide instructional assistance to UMUC students and faculty and work with reference team on projects. Salary mid-forties.
